Question:Anyone done the Ocean Drive Marathon in South Jersey?

It looks kinda nice, the timing is right for me on April 1, 2001, and
right now it's the leading contender to be my first marathon.
This will be the third running, and last year they had just under 400
finishers. Sounds pretty flat, too, although I don't know what "AMSL"
is - that's apparently a unit of measure they're using to talk about
elevation.
My only fear is the wind off the water - I know waterfront races can be
windy.
I'm thinking about OD for a first marathon, too. This one also looks

The weather is really tricky at the Jersey shore at that time of year. It can
be cold and wet or golden sunshine. Last year was breezy but clear and sunny.
The year before was a nasty, cold, storm. Mother nature is always a major
factor in oceanfront races but the OD Marathon is a nicely managed, runner
friendly event.
