Question:
I just bought the new Timex Ironman 100 lap memory watch and really like it
compared with original Timex Ironman. Namely, the start/lap feature of the
stopwatch is operated by a single button on the face of the watch
Is the Timex able to save several workouts in the 100 memories?
For instance, on my Casio 30 lap watch (SDB-500W):
Start - Lap - Lap - Stop - Reset Start - Lap - Stop - Reset
Would save two separately recallable workouts with the the date and
workout number on that date. Also, each workout can be deleted
separately if desired.

Yes and the workout are date-stamped.

You can save more than 2 workouts as long as the total number of splits
is less than or equal to 100. Let's say you have 5 workouts stored. I
don't believe (haven't been able to) you could delete say the 3rd workout
selectively. You can only delete the last workout in this case #5 or all
workouts. Since you can store multiple workouts, I don't forsee this to
be a real limitation in triathlons. For a race with a lot of laps
(auto racing for example), it might be.
